Custom Octagonal Lantern Gift Tin
Custom octagonal lantern gift tin combines premium metal packaging with a decorative starry-sky lantern effect. It is designed for chocolates, confectionery, cosmetics, candles, fragrances, small gifts and seasonal promotional collections. Its distinctive eight-sided shape and perforated celestial patterns create a memorable presentation for Christmas, Ramadan, Eid and other festive retail programs.
The tin measures approximately 255 mm across × H290 mm and is made from 0.23 mm food-grade tinplate. It features a tall octagonal body, a removable lantern-style lid, a raised top section and a small metal hanging loop. Star, moon and constellation-shaped perforations allow light from an optional low-temperature LED unit to project through the metal panels.
The eight exterior panels and removable lid can be customized with brand graphics, decorative patterns, CMYK or Pantone printing, matte or glossy varnish, metallic finishes, embossing, debossing and custom perforated designs. Food and confectionery should be individually wrapped or packed in a suitable food-grade inner bag because of the decorative openings. The final perforation layout, lid fit, hanging structure, insert configuration and LED compatibility should be confirmed through approved drawings and physical samples before mass production.
Custom Printing and Finishing Options
The lid and body can be customized according to your artwork and brand requirements. Available printing options include CMYK full-color printing for detailed images and Pantone spot-color printing for consistent brand colors. Optional decorative effects include embossing, debossing, matte varnish, glossy varnish, metallic effects and selected texture finishes.
Food-contact inner coatings can be selected according to the intended product and target-market requirements. Clear or gold-colored interior finishes may be available, subject to final technical confirmation. If your market requires specific food-contact testing, testing can be arranged through a recognized third-party laboratory based on the applicable requirements.
Optional chocolate trays, paper cups, dividers, paper liners and protective inserts can be developed according to the size, shape and quantity of the chocolates. Clear, gold-colored or other suitable food-grade interior finishes may also be selected according to the product and presentation requirements. A physical packing test is recommended before mass production.

Protective Packing Options for Export
Different protective packing methods are available according to the tin shape, size, printed surface and transportation requirements. Standard options include individual OPP bags, bubble bags, protective paper wrapping and export cartons with internal dividers.
For tins with delicate printing, glossy finishes, embossing or special-shaped structures, additional protective materials can be used to reduce surface scratching, collision and movement during transportation. The final packing method, carton quantity, carton dimensions and gross weight will be confirmed according to the approved product and order requirements.
